Truck Driving Job in Europe

Legal, long-term international work in Europe's transport hub — with a real contract, benefits and full support.

Truck on a European route

Why Lithuania

The hub of European international transport

Lithuania is one of Europe's biggest international road-transport centres. Its carriers run routes across all of Europe, which means steady work, modern trucks and a clear, legal employment pathway for foreign drivers.

We're here in Lithuania — so we know the employers well and know exactly how the job and the pay really work.

What the job is

  • International long-haul across Europe
  • Modern, well-maintained trucks
  • Work solo or as a two-driver crew
  • Typical rotation: 8 weeks on the road / 4 weeks off
  • Legal European contract and social benefits
  • Paid monthly, on time, to your bank account

Pay & benefits

From R48,000 net/month (~€2,400), rising to R60,000 (~€3,000) after the first two months. See salary →

Who can apply

Employer and accommodation

Who you'll work with and where you'll live

We work together with licensed, long-established Lithuanian international transport carriers. Each driver is placed with a specific company based on their experience and situation — so the exact conditions (routes, truck make, accommodation) depend on the company you'll work with.

Common to everyone: a legal European work contract, social guarantees, salary paid on time to your bank account, and modern, well-maintained equipment.

You'll sleep comfortably on the road Accommodation between rotations – a room

On the road — in the truck cabin

On long-haul routes the cabin becomes your home: it has a sleeping area with a comfortable mattress, a heater, air conditioning and a fridge. This is where you sleep, eat and spend your free time — just like drivers all across Europe.

Rest on the road — truck stops and bases

For longer rest you stop at safe, dedicated truck stops or service stations — with showers, toilets, laundry and food. You'll also spend some time at the company's bases, where paperwork is handled or you wait for the next load.

Between rotations and rest weeks

The employer provides accommodation near the base — a shared flat or a room for a symbolic price. Each employer has its own rate — usually around €10–15 (~R200–300) per night. And during your 4 rest weeks you can fly home (at your own cost).

Important: the exact form of accommodation (flat, room, dormitory), its price and the rest-week arrangements depend on the company you'll work with. These photos are examples only.

Small household items you may need (pots, dishes, etc.) you can bring with you or buy after arrival — plan for these one-off costs. And once you meet your employer during the visa process — feel free to ask them anything about life and conditions.
